    • Govt. of India has initiated a "Fitness from Home" program under Fit India Movement. Series will start from May 3, 2021. Tune into @FitIndiaOff's social media channels daily at 11 AM from 3rd May onwards and get free fitness classes, nutrition classes and interesting stories of our Olympians. If you have a clash with your classes/work then you can watch later as per your convenience. Videos will be available at

    Yoga Poster Competition

    • Yoga today, is no longer restricted to hermits, saints, and sages; it has entered into our everyday lives and has aroused a worldwide awakening and acceptance in the last few decades. The science of Yoga and its techniques have now been reoriented to suit modern sociological needs and lifestyles. Covid 19 pandemic has affected most of us. Regular practice of yoga has shown effective results. Different asanas boost immunity, build the body’s strength, increase energy levels, bring down anxiety and stress, infuse positivity and freshness in the mind. In view of forthcoming International Day of Yoga 2021- June 21, the institute is conducting a Poster Competition for all stakeholders of the institute on the theme - “Yoga - Fitness for all”. Submit your entries by May 09, 2021. Each person can submit at most 3 entries via Winners (Top 3) will be awarded prizes and certificates.

    PM YOGA Awards 2021

    • Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, on the second International Day of Yoga announced two Yoga awards – one International and other National – to be given on the occasion of International Day of Yoga. The purpose of the Award is to recognize and felicitate individual(s)/ organization(s) who have made significant impact on the society for a sustained period of time by way of promotion and development of Yoga.
