Dr. Ashish Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara (IIIT Vadodara), Gujarat, India, where he has been serving since August 2025. He received his Ph.D. in Nanotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) in 2018. Prior to joining IIIT Vadodara, he served as an Assistant Professor at Anurag University, Hyderabad, and as a Visiting Research Scholar at New York University (NYU) Tandon School of Engineering, USA.

His research expertise lies at the intersection of Flexible Electronics, Nanotechnology, Solid-State Devices, and VLSI, with particular emphasis on emerging optoelectronic and sensing technologies. His research interests include organic and perovskite solar cells, plasmonic optoelectronic devices, organic field-effect transistors (OFETs), organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), quantum-dot-based photodetectors, and flexible/portable organic sensing devices.

Dr. Singh has authored more than 19 research articles in SCI-indexed journals, along with 8 papers in international Scopus-indexed conferences and 3 book chapters. He holds 3 international patents and 3 granted national patents. He has also contributed to the peer-review process for several reputed international journals, including Nature Scientific Reports, Journal of Materials Chemistry C, ACS Applied Energy Materials, ACS Applied Biomaterials, and Nanoscale.
