Electronics and Communication Engineering

I have completed my Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering and have academic and research experience in the areas of Nanoelectronics, Microelectronics, Nanomaterials, Optoelectronic Devices, and Sensors. My research focuses on the development of low-dimensional nanomaterial-based electronic and optoelectronic devices, particularly broadband UV–Visible–NIR photodetectors, quantum dot-based devices, and plasmonic biosensors. I have worked extensively on 0D and 2D nanomaterials, including quantum dots, nanosheets, and hybrid nanostructures, for advanced photodetection and sensing applications. My research also involves SPR-based biosensors and nanoscale device design for biomedical applications. I have experience in device modelling and simulation using COMSOL Multiphysics, SILVACO, and SCAPS-1D. I have published research articles in peer-reviewed international journals, including IEEE journals, and have been actively involved in research collaborations in the areas of nanomaterials, optoelectronics, photodetectors, and sensor technologies. Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor (Grade II) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIIT Vadodara.
