Dr. Kamal Kishor Jha is an Assistant Professor (Grade-I, Level 13A1) and Head of the Department (HOD) of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Vadodara, Gandhinagar Campus, India. He received his Ph.D. and M.Tech. in VLSI Design from ABV-IIITM Gwalior. His research expertise spans Nano-electronics, Design and fabrication of flexible Sensors, VLSI design, ASIC/FPGA Design, AI hardware accelerators, Machine learning, Computer architecture, Embedded systems and IoT. Dr. Jha has authored more than 29 journals of repute in reputed publishers including IEEE, Elsevier, RSC, and Springer, along with more than 15 international conference papers, 2 text books, 4 book chapters, 1 patent. He has successfully guided 1 Ph.D., 7 M.Tech., and 40 B.Tech. students in cutting-edge areas of nanotechnology and AI hardware accelerators. He has been a Principal Investigator (PI)/Co-PI for multiple sponsored projects funded by national/state agencies such as DST/SERB/ANRF, India Optel Limited (IOL), Government of Gujarat and Seed Grant from the Institute. He is a member of IEEE, Panel Member of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)–MDSM Division, and the DST Gujarat. Dr. Jha serves as an Editorial Board Member and Editor for Scientific Reports (Nature), CeRA Journal By Sage Publisher and MRIJET. He has been an invited speaker at national conferences/workshops and faculty development programs and continues to contribute as a reviewer for leading international publishers such as IEEE, elsevier and springer.
