About the Program:

An Executive M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Vadodara is a postgraduate program designed for working professionals seeking to advance their expertise in the rapidly evolving field of AI. The curriculum is structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of AI and ML, encompassing core concepts, specialized electives, and a substantial project or dissertation.
The program is spread across four semesters and requires the completion of 80 credits. The coursework is divided into core major and minor courses, core electives, and a final project or research dissertation. Key subjects include Big Data Platforms, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision. Students can also choose from a range of electives in areas like Advanced AI/ML Engineering and AI for Business Transformation.

1. Eligibility:

   • Applicants must hold a B.E./B.Tech. in Engineering or an MCA/MSc (in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, CS, IT, DS, or related fields) or an equivalent degree.
   • A minimum of 60% or a 6.0 CPI on a 10-point scale (or equivalent) in the qualifying degree is required.
   The program is designed for working professionals, and while specific work experience requirements may vary, a background in the IT industry is highly recommended.

7. Schedule & Total Hours:

   • 2 Years
   • Tentative Start: July 2026
   • Weekly - 20-24 Contact Hours (14-15 Theory + 2-5 Tut/ Hands-on + 5-8 Supervised labs + 5-8 Unsupervised lab assignments)
   • Number of semesters: 4 semester of course work + Project Work / Research Dissertation during the Final semester
   • Typical Semester: 17 weeks of instruction + 2 weeks of examination + 1 week of semester break

    The program focuses towards empowering professionals with advanced knowledge and skills in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to solve complex real-world problems. 11. Campus Immersion (Duration, Inclusions/Exclusions):

    One mandatory campus immersion of 5 days duration will be planned during July/ December depending on the commencement of the respective cohort.
    During the immersion program the students will be hosted at the IIITV-ICD campus (www.diu.iiitvadodara.ac.in) The students will be provided with hostel accommodation on a sharing basis.

    During conduct of offline courses, accommodation for the participants is arranged at IIITV-ICD campus at Diu (https://diu.gov.in/ ).     Food
